Default Bishan Dog Park

Anyone been to the dog run area at Bishan Park? It is like the "doggie SDU", can see so many different dog breeds there:

Ya, i noticed also, tot of bringing our dog there when she's a little older.

Btw, noob question, is it easier for dogs to catch fleas or ticks from such "dog's park" ?

I know of another one in pasir ris dog farm that gave such a warning tho

If I am not wrong, Bishan dog park requires your dog to get certified for mild temperament before your dog is allowed to mingle with other dogs.

Wa...so laychey one ah? But i guess also good, dont think the authorities want any dogs getting mauled in there and my dog is those bottom of the food chain one . So certification can only be done by a vet?

been there a few times, the park is cleaner (for now) given that it is just reopened.

don't think there is any specific reqmt in this park other to clean the poos your dog leaves behind, although we do observe the behaviour of the dogs there to determine if we let our dog unleashed or leashes.

the other place (and bigger) is west coast dog run park

fleas and ticks are very common in our topic climate reply when there are tall grasses, so far our dog have been ok (although there is one case a tick was found on his body) as we have frontline on him, and wipe him with some solution on his body before the run

Ok, noted and thks bro guess i will take the necessary precaution when we bring our dog there. Bishan park seems to be a very nice place for the whole family to hang out and away from the hustle and bustle of east coast park.
