Default MKV GTI Demod Sale

Hi folks,

After a successful car hunting endeavour, the time has come for me to part with my beloved MKV GTI. It has been 2 great years driving this killer hatch and I guess it is time to return it to its stock form.

Terms of Sale

-No warranty is provided. Items are currently still on my ride (unless otherwise stated) and are certainly in full functionality. Please check that the item is in working condition before purchase. Once purchased, item is non-refundable.

-Prices are slightly negotiable but please do not try to low-ball.

-Demod will be done at my preferred workshop at my expense. Buyer will shoulder his own installation costs. No obligations for buyer to perform his installation at the same workshop.

-No reservation of items unless 50% deposit is paid beforehand. Cash payment only. Cheques are not accepted.

1a) 1 MONTH OLD Silver 18 inch (+45) OZ Ultralleggeras (Sold)

1b)
1 MONTH OLD Eagle F1 Assym: $200 per piece

Tires are already off my ride and in storage.

2) Koni Coilovers Set:
(Sold)

3) Stoptech ST-40 Front BBK (Slotted): (Sold)

4) Arqray Catback Exhaust with Rear Valence: (Sold)

To end it all, I would like to state that the reason I'm selling these items is actually because I'll be trading in my ride to the agent and no point wasting my mods by trading them in together since they prefer to take in the ride in stock mode.

Please feel free to drop me a pm if you're interested. My loss is you gain!!

Bro, can I ask whether there's any squeeky noise from the coilovers over humps at low speed? How's the comfort level? Hope it's not too hard.

There no squeeks that I have heard of. As for the comfort level its a pretty personal thing. As a gauge its much better than a stock Evo10 and GTR in comfort mode but less comfy than a Lexus LS460. ( comparing with some of the rides I have back at home). With regard to the hardness, personally i find the default compression setting pretty comfortable, and the rebound settings are totally up to your configurations.

The BBK can only clear detriots if spacers are used.

To all the folks who showed interest, thanks for all the pm-enquiries. I apologise for my lagginess in replying since I am currently house-hunting and spent my weekends out almost the entire day. In any case, I will most likely be demodding most of the goodies out early next week (less the exhaust). So after that you guys can simply cash and carry.

To all folks who have enquired on the possibility of me selling off my ride in its current state with all the mods intact, please do make me a reasonable offer to tempt me out of dekitting since I've already have matching offers for the various parts. Thanks

Hi bro,

Thanks for the bump! Anyway I am super lazy leh to demod more stuff.. Haha..Decided to let the smaller items go with my ride. Actually other than the intake I still have some goodies on board like the COX dash panel and etc. To be honest, the whole dekitting process is pretty tiring. Gotta spend the little time I have back in office to read pm and answer sms.

Hi folks,

Please check the first post for some updates on the status of various items. I've also revised the price of the remaining items slightly. Please feel free to pm me to negotiate.

cheers!
