Just wondering how much of a diff it would make? The pricing that you hv including freight is not too bad. So if its not much of a diff you think a 22" will do?

Honestly I am not too sure myself too.. Too be more technical, the thickness should be in line with the spring rate that u use. But I do feel 22" shld be more than enough though.

Guys,

Juz to share with you some additional info I have found out recently on the H&R Arbs:

First, the HnR front ARB is not a direct bolt-on. U will need an experienced workshop to make some adjustment to it before installation.

Second, those who have installed HnR front ARB (the thicker version) have experienced some rubbing of the sub-frame. You won't hear it but when u hoist up, can see the marking caused by the ARB.

Above solely for info:wink:

So it is advise not to install the front I guess. Thanks for the info Bro. :D

Tried googling but it seems that H&R only makes the front ARB and not the rear for Passats...

Guess that I still need to look for Neuspeed... :(

I have got my measurment taken and the difference between the front and rear is appx 2mm apart. It will be good if you can take the measurments of yours for comparision. Just got news that there will be a Audi and MTM engineer coming down town to share their technical expertise. Am thinking of holding the group buy till then. Any objections from those who are keen in the group buy?

Cool! Please kindly keep us posted. I am also interested in the group buy, however I have a B7 A4 and am unsure of the measurement. Would you or anyone else have any ideas?

Hi Guys,

Will these fit the 1.6Fsi ?? Does not look like strut bars will fit in the engine bay ....

For you info, these are sway bars or anti-roll bars and not strut bars. These connect the left and right tires to reduce body roll - you may want to look at the picture posted earlier to see where they are fitted...

Hi Eugh,

I know they are sway bars.......

I looked at the 1.6Fsi engine bay and found the suspension mounting cover by a piece of the body work, therefore wondering if they are any strut bars in the market for the MkV.

Dun know if the Gti engine bay looks the same .........

There is no provision in the GTI engine bay to put strut bar.

Hi octman,

Maybe u would lke to check in the H&R website if there is one available for u? As sway bar are car specific, the one for GTI or A3 should not be able to fit in your ride.
