I think he is sending the ECU to german mtm by air and then get it back by asking some 3rd party to do the installation. Thats why the downtime is 7-10days.

At PA, all you need is just 1day or less.

Stock 200bhp + 45bhp = 245bhp

Thought the 2.6 is 170bhp and 2.o TFSI is 200bhp

They "de-tuned" the A6 2.0T otherwise the 2.4L cannot sell. But once you go to MTM stage 1, the 170bhp will be bumped up to 245bhp. 8)

the C6 2.4 is 177bhp and V6.
the inline 2.0TFSI engine came along later and had 200bhp stock out of the box.

audi then placed this new 2.0TFSI engine into the A6C6.
the 2.0TFSI was not envisioned for in the initial design lifecycle of the C6 so the end result is a product placement problem for audi.

you cant have a inline 4 that is more powerful than the V6 which is typically meant for a luxury sedan of that class.

anyway that really "old block" 90deg V6 2.4 engine design is getting phased out....dont laugh at it tho, this was the same base block that gave you the original 2.7biturbo B5 RS4.

i feel sorry for all the 2.4 A6 owners who will have to smell smoke from modded A6 2.0Ts in traffic light sprints...

this is really dumb. at least with the bmw putting in a 2.5 and detuning it in the 523, its not easy to get back the power.

Well, its good that there is another option of getting MTM products besides PA. Well done.

Won't this pose warranty issues if not done by PA? this isn't a small mod. It deals with the engine. I'm also surprised MTM will deal with others outside of PA for singapore.

price is damn good though.

Well if its done by MTM then there should not be any problem as PA does the retailing for them. Maybe, limited warranty?
