Yo brothers!

Have been surfing this forum for a while, getting to know more about the GTI. Finally book a white one last week.

Had been contemplating the Saab 93, Alfa 159 or GTI. Finally settling for the GTI cos I know I will regret if I buy the other 2. No offence to drivers of the other 2 makes, they are great cars, and I firmly believe that given the opportunity, I would love to own these 2 cars...

Hope to meet you great guys when I get my ride.

Got my GTI from PI... CNC doesn't seem to want to do business, not even a display unit available to see... they ask me to go see the Golf 1.6.. claiming its the same... hahahaha.. what a joke!

I dont think I will be putting posioning my car so soon.... would like to try out the potential of the stock car before moving forward.... but I like your ICE....

hahhahahah, no lar exile... T6 is one of the frenly folks areound... quite a guy to chat with too... i agree with rttex tt u shld keep the ride stock 1st... enjoy and see what it feels like... then evaluate what u like to achieve ... do lotsa research or feel free to ask the many GTI drivers here... then go for it!

yar, indeed vagsg is one of the most frenly forum around... credit must go to the admin/mod team, the bros and sis's ... pls do find time to join us for the gtgs... so far, i've met very nice folks... and get this: none of them regret meeting up... in fact, the most common comment is "wah, din know the gtg can be so fun... the guys are so nice/fun etc"...

Wise choice to keep it stock for a couple of months first. Then set aside some $ for going faster, then stopping faster, sounding better, riding smoother, handling better, looking sharper etc you get the picture?

I collected my ride last weekend and the first mod i did was to change the bee sting antenna to the shark fin type.....

And to John whom I speak to at Eurohaus (wonder if he is in this forum), nice talking to you and your car look awesome!!

being enjoying the ride since..... will go for the 27 Jan GTG if time permits!!

Taillights can be had from XZ at less than SGD400/- both sides. Call Jeffrey for price :D

absolutely, those tail lamps rock (plus they're plug and use outta the box)...don't forget the matching smoked side mirror indicators :)

- brembo/alcon BBK...
- MTM / GIAC/ REVO tune
- Oettinger Quads / MTM / Milltek exhaust
- OSIR lips / OSIR CF mirrors
- FiberImage CF bonnet.

Oh dont worry about that... I have most of the zaino products... but the groomer I use is Spa for Cars, and they are currently using "Poor boy's world" products...

Not bad in my own opinion......

I use Zaino when I am washing and doing my own touch up!!!

Oh. Its a brand and they carry a full range of detailing products simliar to Zaino.

I might be bringing in some to DIY. If its effective (of course it must be easy to use), will provide some feedback on this.
