How to Post Pictures

Trying to Post a picture, but no attach button. Saw the Img button but it seems to need a URL of the location of the picture. Do I need a webserver to host the picture before I can attach?

Bambam's images are a wee bit different. I had to go to the source to dig out the image URL. The said URL posted above and his thread about car drawer only directs one to the html webpage but not to the image. I had to right click my mouse to retrieve the URL of the image.

Your mistake was:

[img]

shall be just
[img]the url of the picture link

You didnt do anything wrong per se, one had to right click the mouse and retrieve the image URL instead of the website URL.

Hope you understand what I am trying to say.

bambam, i finally got it rite! jon's rite.... your image has unique url....

1. u need to right click on the image, select 'properties'
2. copy the 'location' e.g. http://img11.picsplace.to/img10/19/Drawer_Assembly1.jpg
3. click the button on your posting and paste the copied url followed by

In another thread someone (BG I think) pointed me to use photobucket to upload the pictures. Its easier that way.
